As part of our vision to see South Reading transformed by the Good News of Jesus, we lead or partner with several projects through which we are able to show God’s transforming love, healing and compassion to all.
As a church community, we are passionate about showing God's love in action by responding to those in need in a practical way – irrespective of their faith, or no faith, their age, sex, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or ability.
Our Parish Nurse works across our parish with all ages to provide non-medical, support advocacy, health promotion and signposting.
Our Food Coach invites you to free cooking classes to show you how to cook healthy meals on a budget. We provide the food and equipment. You will receive 1-2-1 guidance in a small group of 4-6 people.
Our St Barnabas Pantry is now open. If you are struggling to afford your weekly shop, why not join our pantry? Pay £6 per week and get £25 worth of products that you choose to take home with you. Pantry open Thursdays 1-3 pm.
One of our key values as a church family is to have a heart for God’s mission beyond our community. As a result, we support charities financially that are intentionally missional.
